
A further advance is easily arranged up to a maximum of 75% of the property value and subject to a minimum borrowing limit of £2,000. The loan can be used for any purpose providing it is above £25,250. For loans less than £25,250 it must be for the purpose of property improvement or land purchase. Should you wish to borrow less than £25,250 for any other purpose we will need to replace your present mortgage with a new mortgage, combining your present lending terms with the additional advance you now require. On completion of the new loan, which will be allocated with a new mortgage account number, we will retain the amount required to repay the outstanding balance on your present mortgage and the surplus funds will be paid to you. There will be no extra cost for this change.
