Loans Processor

Up to £18,000 p.a. + benefits

The opportunity has arisen for a Loans Processor to join our existing Loans Underwriting team at the Society's Head Office in Epsom.

You will process the Society's mortgage applications from initial receipt through to the successful completion of the mortgage. You will carry out reference enquires and other checks to verify the information provided, update the computer system, spreadsheets and other records, and keep customers and authorised intermediaries updated throughout the lending process.

Key requirements

Candidates will be educated to GCSE level, or equivalent (at least 4 at A-C grade, including Maths and English). They must be PC literate, have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and be able to perform well under pressure. Candidates will also be expected to be flexible regarding working hours during busy periods.

Ideally candidates will have previous loan/mortgage processing experience gained in a bnk or building society, together with a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CeMap). However, less experienced individuals with a background in administration and customer service are also encouraged to apply, as full training for this position can be provided and professional study support is alos available.

Salary & Benefits

The salary offered will be up to £18,000 p.a. dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
