Issued: 23 March 2016

If you would like to subscribe to a new ISA or top up an existing ISA for the 2015/2016 tax year, we require sufficient time to process these requests before we close for business on Tuesday 5 April. Whatever your chosen method of sending funds to us (cheque, Bacs, Faster Payment), you must ensure the funds reach us by Tuesday 5 April to allow time for processing.

Online new account applications for 2015/2016 will be suspended from close of business on Wednesday 30 March 2016. If you have an outstanding application, we must receive your signed application and supporting documentation by Monday 4 April. Top ups for 2015/2016 subscriptions will be available as debit card receipts via the Online Service until 4.30pm on Tuesday 5 April. Top ups by Faster Payment and Chaps payments (telegraphic transfers) must be sent from your bank account by Monday 4 April. If you have not yet made a subscription, or are unsure whether you have, you should contact us first to check whether a further application form is required to meet HMRC regulations.

Online applications and top ups for the 2016/2017 tax year will be available again from 12.01am on Wednesday 6 April.
